what is new in your neck of the woods.
there is a lot that is new in these parts.
it has been almost two months since i have written a post. i have occasionally opted for the instant gratification of facebook but as far as my blog goes i have hit a roadblock.

it has been almost two months since i have written a post. i have occasionally opted for the instant gratification of facebook but as far as my blog goes i have hit a roadblock.
i compose a post almost daily in my head. usually at the most inconvenient times, either when i am under the shower, driving the car or in bed. but when i sit down to the keyboard the words elude me.
i have been working flat out as one of santa's little helpers.
i have even sustained a deep blister on my index finger from the scissors whilst cutting out 36 bibs and their towelling backing. who said sewing was a safe passtime.

two christmas markets down

with one more to go

there will be some midge and judy goodies under a few trees on christmas morning making me a very happy christmas elf.

i have a new sewing buddy too. she is 9 weeks old and resembles an ewok.

there will be some midge and judy goodies under a few trees on christmas morning making me a very happy christmas elf.
i have a new sewing buddy too. she is 9 weeks old and resembles an ewok.
her name is lucy. she is half sister to sadie .
and just as sadie did she sits at my feet while i stitch and snip.
the white cotton from my bibs falls onto her chocolate coat giving the appearance of a bad case of dandruff.
in just two short weeks she has become a valued and loved member of the family. even when she is stealing shoes almost double her size.
and so in the thick of the christmas build up we have cooking to be done, presents to be wrapped, markets to be attended and orders to be filled.

the tree has been decorated
when the outgoing year six class hand over the candle as a symbol of leadership to the year five class.
we have done the rounds of christams drinks, dinners and bbq's with friends and now i have finally managed to squeeze in a post of sorts.
i will try to make the time between posts much smaller.
Welcome back to Blogland :) you have been missed!
I love your monkeys and the latest member of your family is simply adorable!!
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and new year!!

You might not've posted for a while but you haven't been idle. The market goodies look great - I don't know how you manage it around Christmas time, you must be the time management queen! Your new baby looks beautiful, what a gorgeous early Christmas gift. Her fur looks so shiny and luxuriant, do you wash her in Pantene?
