paint spattered, rain soaked, dusty and sad,
left on the nature strip by uninspired neighbors.
on a cluttered shelf in a dusty op shop in daylesford,
filled with sweet smelling blooms foumd in my garden.
moth eaten, torn, stained and worn,
in a musky suitcase in a forgotten corner of an antique shop in daylesford.
soon to adorn the toes of tiny babies.
rust stained and smelling of damp and dust,
on an old chair behind some bedside tables in the same antique store in daylesford.
way too cute to cut, this cheery little tablecloth is destined to become a picnic cloth, it deserves it's day in the sun.
seek, and you shall find.
happy hunting.

Very special finds there Michelle. You must be well pleased! Your gorgeous little violets(?) are just beautiful.
I can actually visualize that little stool in many new ways! :))
