in a recent edition of my creative space i posted a rant about my attempts to find some balance
i seem to have developed a habit of crafting for "midge & judy" and forgetting or not making time to apply some creative effort to hearth and home.
i am still trying to redress the balance.
so this week there has been a bit of midge & judy creating in the form of some refashioned woollens
by turning them into vests for wee ones.
and a bit of home front creating in the form of revisiting an old w.i.p for miss 11's room
a single bed appliqued patchwork quilt
and a loveheart doily bunting to string across her mantle piece
share the love and visit kirsty and her band of merry crafters who list their blog links at kootoyoo

Oh my goodness, I am in love with that little hoodie sweater! It's perfect!
I hear you on the balance. I spent too much time june at noon crafting, and in my attempt to correct that ended up doing too much "us" crafting, and now I'm just trying to get caught up enough with everything else so I can make another attempt at balance. Harumph!

The colours of the love hearts for the bunting are so sweet. Yep, finding just the right balance between family, work, housework and fun is very challenging...well it is for me!

i do love those little vests you make, any chance you would make them for a big kid ( me?)
Also the quilt patches are look super sweet.

I feel terribly out of balance at the moment, so I really understand what you mean. It's that whole juggle of mother, wife, friend,business partner, just me thing I'm tried just thinking about it. I really love the beautiful crochet bunting and those sock creatures are wonderful.x
