this week i am
enjoying
becoming re acquainted with a pair of old friends
admiring
the amazing fine stitches on some old embroidery whilst i transform it into new baby shoes
sheltering
from the cold wet weather that melbourne has served up
hoping
that there is sufficient precipitation and sub zero temperatures for the rain to fall as snow
dreaming
about getting a bit of this action in a few weeks time
celebrating
my birthday
(with far less enthusiasm than i did 30 years ago)
Happy Birthday...her's hoping you see some of that snow.

Happy birthday to you!
That is such a gorgeous post.
I am wishing for your snow filled wishes to come true too.
And I'd love to know what you're knitting. (I'm a brand new knitter and I'm OBSESSED!) X

i'm a bit too late to sing the song... but hope you had a great day ! i'm less enthusiastic to celebrate too, because i find life's too short & there's so much i would love to do on this one ride !
