since the beginning of the year i have added to my stash on only a handful of occasions.
i vowed to mend my compulsive fabric purchasing ways and become frugal.
i promised to put a serious dent in the stash before i made another single purchase.
for the most part i have stuck to the plan. i have purchased only thrifted and pre loved supplies.
with only a couple of minor setbacks. like the time when a trip to the enormous craft barn at the end of the road for necessities put temptation in the way of owls before me.
(i am only human, if you cut me i bleed)
and so one would expect that the stash should be shrinking. because in all of this time i have not been idle in the production department, however, in the cold, hard light of day this is about 1/4 of the current collection,
and
and
and
and finally.
but fear not my loyal friends, it is slowly being eroded by,
many pairs of baby shoes in the making,
and quilts, skirts, foraging bags, dresses, doily birds, buntings, dolls, kokeshi, costumes, baby balls, cubes and anything else that i can dream up.

wow, wow, wow ... what a stash. no wonder you can't add anything to it.

I'm telling you if you would make larger slippers and skirts for large girlies like me it would dwindle away before you knew what had happened!
