family life is so busy.
i have been thinking about ways to slow down and reconnect.
when miss 28 was a little girl, she and i read the secret garden together.
miss 10 is not an avid reader so i thought it might help if we snuggled up together
(with mr norris and jack the bear of course)
and read the same book
a kind of girly family tradition
planning a bit of quiet time in the garden this afternoon where the last flush of Pierre de Ronsard
roses are showing off.
the weekend will see us enjoying some of this which should recharge the batteries for the term ahead
i hope your weekend brings opportunities to reconnect with what is important to you

That sounds like a wonderful way to reconnect midge! I'm sure miss 10 appreciated the snuggle too. :)
I don't have any family traditions, esp ones that sound so lovely. I suppose having no kids wouldn't help there. Guess I'm missing out on a lot of things.
Enjoy for as long as you can. :)
