school holidays has dictated that my creativity has been focused on entertaining little miss 10 and mr 9. which has been lots of fun.
there has been time to finish of some sock monkeys by gifting them with the sense of sight , smell and taste in the form of embroidered facial features.
and evenings have been dedicated to hours of quality t.v. viewing from cosy corner and some stitching on my pincushion for foxy's swap.
it is still looking quite flat and unable to carry pins but if luck is on my side today will see me come up with a cunning plan to shape it into a receptacle for the loveliest of pins.
for more stitching, hooking, bending, shaping, sketching, painting.knitting, moving and shaking pop over to kootoyoo
Your pincushion is (of course) going to be absolutely magnificent!

The beginnings of your pinkeep look so lovely! Clever you. Mmmmm......maybe it's me that will receive it from you! Now that would be nice.
Still haven't finished mine either, or received one yet. Such fun! :)

I remember a sock monkey my mom made when I was a kid and have always thought of making some myself. Will I ever get around to it? Who knows. Great needlework for the pincushion, but there is only one problem I can see with it. How is someone suppose to stick needles in something so pretty?
