please, stop the world, i want to get off. why is time marching by so quickly? am i old? ok, i think i have got that off my chest. thanks. i'm ok.
in the week that just flew by i have managed to avoid the most pressing job at hand. to tidy my sewing room. and so there was nothing for it except to sit and crochet.
i have decided on a home for my granny square afghan when it is done.
it will reside here across the back of my little church pew. that is when it is not full time employed warming my tired old knees over the winter months.
since our return from holidays my daily granny average has dropped from ten to one, a day .
however, i estimate that i am about twenty four grannies off the finish line, then there is the end stitching and joining of squares. at the current rate it will be finished for my youngest daughters 100th birthday,
there are more creative spaces that are undoubtedly more productive than mine aver at kirsty's lovely place
24? That's nothing! Go, go, go, it's going to be breathtaking.

Put the kettle on and be kind to yourself, look how much you have achieved already! I love all the colours you are using, can't wait to see it all sewn up and looking lovely xo

You are so close to finishing! The rug will look amazing on the church pew (I have pew envy). I think that if I am ever rich, I will employ someone to weave in ends for me. Maybe they could also do all my zips and buttonholes too.....
